Vans, an iconic South California brand founded by brothers Paul and Jim Van Doren in 1966, is the host of an iconic global community that sees skateboarding as a lifestyle filled with history, music, and a sense of freedom.
If you are into skateboarding as a hobby, read on.

Vans does not offer a membership program for hobbyists at this time.
-
Its hard not to find a vans logo or its signature checkerboard emblem, letting you know that you are in the right place to find the right community. From attending events like Vans Shop Riot (Skate Shop Championship), Vans Block Party (where music, skateboarding, art, and fashion collide), and the renowned Vans Warped Tour (music festival for skateboarders), are just some of the many experiences where you will find the right crowd.

In addition to their pop-ups, there is a permanent House of Vans in Mexico City, a mixed-use venue that would be considered a dream for any skateboarder. From screening rooms for skate videos and documentaries, to workshops to improve your skateboarding skills. As for skate parks? Due to their Vans Park Series, there are a number of skateparks donated over the years after each global tour.
